What are you thinking?

What do people think of? Sometimes you wonder …
Shine on
Illustration/vector by Mischa Lee
Don’t look back at all those times you failed -
They are in the past
And can not be changed.
Don’t look back on the painful losses -
They were not meant to be anyway.
Don’t look back and cry over lost time -
For you are just wasting more time
and contradicting yourself.
Don’t look back on everything you didn’t get -
Focus on what you have
And how blessed you are to have them.
Don’t look back and regret falling in love -
You enjoyed it while it lasted.
Shine on and don’t look back.

BREASTMILK for infants in South Africa
Nothing is more natural than breastfeeding. Women have been doing it in every corner of the world for thousands of years. But just because breastfeeding is natural, doesn’t mean it is always easy. Where it is not possible for the biological mother to breastfeed, the first alternative, if available, should be the use of human breast milk from other sources. International Breast Milk Project is an international humanitarian aid organization, dedicated to providing life-giving donor milk to infants in emergent need. One of our primary goals is to provide immediate relief for infants in South Africa, where an estimated 1.4 million children were orphaned due to HIV/AIDS in 2007. International Breast Milk Project is a federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Mr. Diver
Well .. there are different types of divers … I love diving and being underwater … among all nice fish! It’s so quiet and totally relaxing. More deep-diving for the people! Then there are those who dive down very deep into the bottle, also … but that’s another story.
SOLO DOLO
Got inspired by Kid Cudi’s track Mr. Solo Dolo. What a damn good song!
Music is magical, it can really affect your mood and in this case… very positive.
Thank you Mr. Solo Dolo!
Simon Camilo

Check out Simon’s cartoons, totally wonderful little creatures!
Unfortunately, it is necessary to know Swedish to understand them. I’ll try to do a little translation:
– We are vegetarians, cause we don’t eat our friends.
- So we eat carrots, tomatoes and lettuce… cause they are our enemies.
Hilarious!
Reflections
The big ‘red’ canvas/illustration by Mischa Lee. Photo: Micke
A customer sent a few photos today! I think it fits very nicely above the couch. It feels so nice when the customer feels satisfied and happy! The illustration is called ”Reflections” and is available in MiArt Design Shop, both as a poster, postcard and canvas printing. Each illustration is printed (canvas) in a limited edition and in this particular, there are only five left. When I did ‘Reflections’ I thought of a lump-happy friends who dances through life, and reflect each other as equals.
Cellular Memory Art
Childhood abuse and other extreme stressors can have lasting effects on brain areas involved in memory and emotion. What happens when you open up the memory cells? By going back in time and experience the feelings that we once experienced, we open up locked doors … we once locked … in order to survive. Maybe it’s not the cosiest experience but perhaps necessary for a dignified life!

Jeremy Blake & Theresa Duncan
Photo of Theresa by Joshua Jordan – Photo of Jeremy by Donald Graham
Jeremy Blake and Theresa Duncan, who shared an uncommonly close bond.
Theresa Duncan took her own life, followed a week later by her boyfriend, Jeremy Blake.
Blake, an art-world star acclaimed for his lush and moody “moving paintings,” shape-shifting innovations mixing abstract painting and digital film, had ended his life on the night of July 17, 2007, walking into the Atlantic Ocean off Rockaway Beach, Queens, never to return. “I am going to join the lovely Theresa,” Blake, 35, had written on the back of a business card, which he left on the beach, along with his clothes.
“The lovely Theresa” was Theresa Duncan, a writer, filmmaker, computer-game creator, and Blake’s girlfriend of 12 years. He had found her lifeless body on July 10, 2007, in the rectory of St. Mark’s Church in Manhattan’s East Village, where the couple had been renting an apartment. There was a bowl full of Benadryl pills, a bottle of Tylenol PM, and a champagne glass on the nightstand. There was a note saying, “I love all of you.” Duncan was 40. The last post on her blog, “The Wit of the Staircase,” was a quote from author Reynolds Price about the human need for storytelling and the impossibility of surviving in silence. Source: Vanity Fair

I really don’t know why I write about these people… people I did not know
… but somehow, I recognize myself… and it feels very sad that their lives ended as it did … but I belive their love story continues… in the sky… with lucy and diamonds…

Songkran is the name of the New Year in Thailand. It occurs in the month of April and lasts for three days as per the Gregorian Calendar. New Year celebrations begin with cleaning of house. People perform various traditions and rituals to welcome the New Year. A most important tradition is to throw water on each other. This is done to purify the souls.
